A quick post with piles of pictures of a gorget that I’ve been working on. These are patterned (conceptually) off an original owned by Wade Allen. The photos show a couple of different construction techniques, I’d strongly suggest rolling the edge first and then building the hinge and pins.
This post will be replaced with an article at some point, but there are a fair number of folks who want to see the pictures now, so following is a large gallery dump. Note that it includes my youngest daughter wearing the gorget ring, so the “nice” ring is probably too small for most people (it’s 16 1/2″ and a bit tight for me – I’ll probably make one around 18″)
